Donation Terms and Refund Policy

Thank you for your generous support of the Rashawn D. E. Allen Memorial Foundation. The following terms apply to all donations made through our website or affiliated channels.

1. Donations Are Final

All donations made to the Foundation are considered final and non-refundable. By submitting a donation, you understand and agree that the transaction is not reversible, except in cases of proven fraud or technical error.

2. Payment Processing

Donations are processed via third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). The Foundation does not store your payment information.

3. Use of Funds

All contributions are used at the sole discretion of the Foundation to support its mission, including scholarship funding, operational costs, or educational initiatives. Donors may not restrict or designate how their funds are used unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. No Tax Deduction

As the Foundation is not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation may not be tax-deductible. Please consult a tax advisor for your specific circumstances.

5. Duplicate or Error Transactions

FERPA Compliance Clause

Transcript and Academic Records Handling

All transcripts or academic records submitted to the Rashawn D. E. Allen Memorial Foundation will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating scholarship eligibility. These documents will not be shared, sold, or used for any other purpose.

The Foundation complies with the spirit of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and commits to maintaining the confidentiality of education records submitted by applicants. Transcripts are securely stored and deleted within 90 days of the close of the scholarship cycle unless otherwise required for recordkeeping or audit purposes.
